“I arrived in Mexico for the first time in August 2020, I was planning to stay for a couple of weeks and I immediately fell in love with its culture, its people and its energy. Soon I knew that I wanted to build here, learn here and contribute here. MFL is, in large part, a tribute to that love for Mexico and its community.” Said Joe Merullo, CEO of MFL.

The first performance of the league, MFL 1, will be held on September 6, 2025 at the Naucalpan Urban Room, a venue with capacity for 2,000 attendees.
The opening card will feature 21 fights, divided into:
